I recently had the opportunity to participate in the Illinois state CCDC hosted by Southern Illinois University - Carbondale (SIUC).  I was on the competition Red Team, tasked taking the role of an attacker, breaking into student "Blue Team" networks.  It was an excellent learning opportunity for everyone involved, and I had a great time.
